The White Garden

Laid out in 1999, the White Garden was inspired by Sissinghurst, the famous English garden. Landscape architect Jane Schul was responsible for the plant selection and planting scheme.

The garden is designed in the form of a classic Renaissance garden with symmetrical flowerbeds, edged with low box hedging. It is a white, high summer garden with perennials that flower in shades of white and cream throughout much of the season. The fragrance of the multiple blooms is also an important element of the garden.
