The History of the Ambulance Service

"The History of the Ambulance Service" is a new exhibition that focuses on life as an ambulance worker and developments in the history of the ambulance. Falck has played a significant role in the development of this aspect of Danish health care. Gain an insight into how life as an ambulance worker has evolved from merely providing a means of transport for sick and injured people, to involving life-saving treatment today. Today's paramedics undergo a demanding seven-year training programme before they can use that title.

Naturally, the exhibition also features ambulances – four of them, dating from 1930 to the present day.
